Razmik Marukyan studied at Yerevan State Choreographic College and is now a principal dancer at Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia. Because of his exceptional skill, Razmik has been the recipient of many honors and awards throughout his training and career. He was a finalist at the Moscow International Ballet Competition, received the Jury Award of Encouragement at the USA International Ballet Competition, and won the Silver Medal (Second Prize) at the Yuri Grigorovich "Young Ballet of the World" competition in Sochi, Russia. He also earned both First Place and the Best Artistic Performance Award at the Concours Prix Arabesque in Belgium. In 2017, Razmik was awarded the Certificate of Honor from Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia.
