

Raffi Galstyan
Raffi Galstyan is a lead principal at Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia. He trained at Yerevan State Choreographical College and participated in competitions throughout his training. Raffi consistently placed in the top three in competitions that took place in Armenia, France, Russia, Estonia, Georgia, and China . Some of his most notable awards include First Place in the Moscow finals at the Global Art international competition and First Place at the Vakhtang Chabukiani competition in Tbilisi, Georgia. In his graduate year at Yerevan State Choreographical College, Raffi was invited by the troupe’s ballet director to lead Masquerade on the national stage. Upon graduation, he was immediately welcomed into the theatre as a lead soloist. In 2019, Raffi received the Armenian Republic's Presidential Award for his achievements and was granted the opportunity to train with the troupe at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Russia for two weeks. He has taught masterclasses in variations and coaches privately in Armenia.
